GREGORY POMICTER is the Assistant for Operations, Office of Regional Records Services, National Archives and Records Administration (NARA). He is responsible for coordinating the activities of the Regional Archives of the United States and various records management and administrative functions of the Office of Regional Records Services. During his twenty-eight year career with NARA, Greg completed NARA’s two-year archivist training program and has worked in various management positions at the National Personnel Records Center in St. Louis and at NARA’s regional facilities in Chicago and Philadelphia before moving to the Washington, DC area in 1985. Greg received a B.A. degree from the University of Missouri- St. Louis and a Masters degree from St. Louis University in mathematical management science. Leslie Albrecht Huber is a freelance genealogy writer and speaker. She has a Bachelor’s degree in history, with an emphasis in German Family history, and a Master’s degree in Public Affairs. She has worked as a professional German genealogist helping people find their German roots first through a large company and then through her own business. Leslie has taught classes on genealogy in several contexts including college and community classes and has given dozens of lectures to genealogical and historical societies at a local, regional, and national level. She is also involved in several genealogy groups. She serves as the Program Chair for the 2010 National Palatines to America Conference, the vice-president of the Worcester Chapter of Massachusetts Society of Genealogists, and is on the planning committee of NERGC. She is also a member of ISFHWE (International Society of Family History Writer and Editors) and the Genealogy Speakers Guild.
