Ethnic Heritage Day

Saturday, Aug. 28, 2010

Location:

National Archives and Records Administration
10 Conte Drive, Pittsfield, MA 01201

9:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. Schedule a one-on-one consultation with one, or more, of our ethnic experts:

French Canadian – Michelle LeClair (9a.m.-1p.m.)
Italian – Peter Sisario (10a.m.-2p.m.)
Irish – Lisa Dougherty (9a.m.-1p.m.)
German – Elsie Saar (9a.m.-1p.m.)
Polish – Alan Horbal (9a.m.-1p.m.)

Each consultation will last approximately 15 minutes. If you have a time preference for your consultation, please add that to the consultation line.  Times are first come first serve so sign-up early to get the time slot you want.

The Microfilm Reading Room will be available for researchers’ use during the day (we’ll open at 8:00 a.m.) and volunteers will be available to assist.  So talk to one of our experts and then see if you can take their advice and find your ancestor using our microfilm or one of our on-line resources (be sure to reserve computer time below by giving us your choice of a half-hour slot).

Cost is $5 per consultation (Free for Friends’ members).  Light refreshments will be available in the lunchroom and we have refrigerators and microwaves so bring a lunch and stay for the day.
